Thank you to all bakers and tasters who got involved in today’s bake-off, we made £23.15 for the Rainbow Trust! With only 3 ½ points in it, it was a close call but our new Master Baker is Madame Sabine Donnezan-Loustalan, who won over the crowd with her delicious chocolate éclairs, followed closely by Katie Lewis’s heart-attack inducing Mississippi mud pie. Third place went to Lauren.H’s glittery globe cupcakes. The Tom Charles Fine went to Miss.Hatti P who commented that Katie’s entry “tasted like burnt sausage..!” Shocking.
